We are looking for singers who are 18 years of age or older or have graduated from high school who can contribute to rehearsals and performances in a positive way. We want singers who understand that performing in a chorus means giving themselves over to the ensemble. To join the mailing list for information, contact our Managing Director at or call 716-980-5701.

Our Audition Philosophy

You’ll notice that this is not your standard type of audition. We don’t want to just hear you sing a solo. We want to hear all that you would bring to a choral ensemble. While you may think there is a lot to the audition, we want to give you many chances to show what you would contribute to the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus. A successful chorus is a wonderful mix of strengths, and we want you to be able to share yours with us.

Western New York's premier symphonic choral ensemble! The Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus (BPC) is an independent symphonic chorus whose mission is to provide the highest quality performances of choral music to the Western New York community while developing singers in the choral art through self-sponsored concerts and as the primary choral partner of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.
