2017 BPC Choral Affiliates, backstage at Kleinhans Music Hall

Education Events

Each year, the BPC invites WNY high school music teachers to recommend two of their best vocal students (one male and one female) to join the BPC and BPO for one of our performances on stage at Kleinhans. Roughly 30 students participate in this program every year under the guidance of a current member mentor. Students are eligible to receive community service hours for their time spent with the BPC.

The 2017 program will feature:

Waltons’ Belshazzar’s Feast
Saturday-Sunday, June 3-4, 2017
JoAnn Falletta, conductor
Kleinhans Music Hall

Applications will be sent early January 2017 and must be submitted by January 23. Rehearsals will begin March 6. For more information or to be added to the mailing list, please contact, or call 716.980.5701.

This program is funded by the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, Administered by Arts Services Initiative of Western New York.
